The movie starts off with Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar) and Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor) turning into common folks having left their old business and settled in Dubai. Two conwomen from India, Poonam (Dimple Kapadia) and Babita (Ankita Shrivastav), enact themselves as Maharani Padmavati and Rajkumari Chandini of Najafgarh in order to foulplay Uday and Majnu and get their money. It is revealed that Shankar Shetty (Uday's father) had a third marriage from whom she has a daughter Ranjana (Shruti Haasan). Now Majnu and Uday come up with the responsibility of arranging the marriage of Ranjana.
